Alan Bolton78 days agoI visit this Travel Center at least once a week as a truck driver. The stuff in the convenience store and the restaurant are very courteous and friendly. One time I got locked out of my truck and the lady behind the counter ask her co-worker to take over the service of the other customers while she focused on my needs to find a locksmith. The building and the parking lot area are starting to show their age though they do keep everything very clean and organized. Is there coffee and to go food is pretty good. It's nice to be able to get Bannock and to pick up the Bison jerky that is made by the First Nations there. The restaurant has a pretty good menu and all the food I've eaten there has been pretty good. There is always daily specials and fresh made soup everyday.Posted on Google

Be nice to see it in a glass or proper ramekin.Just cause it’s a truck stop you shouldn’t cut corners. My friend had a closed Denver, be nice if they asked if you want mayo on your sandwich or on the side. Overall I would be back again.Posted on Google

perfect!!! We were here many time on are holidays. The very best service, food out standing. Prices out of this world. They are so low. Every one very friendly. Very clean. I would recommend this restaurant to every one. Your singing waitress Jerry, was the best. She sang my table a song. The way she greets people coming in the restaurant, make you feel rate a home. Good food, good service, good prices Pretty good food at pretty good prices. My only complaint is that for those of us who drink decaf, it would be nice to get freshly-brewed decaf instead of a packet of Sanka. There is some darn good decaf out there nowadays, even in pods, so it would be a nice touch to offer that to those of us who cannot drink caffeine for health reasons.Posted on Facebook

Sawridge Travel Centre Cafe or The Truck Stop as many of us call it, is one of our favourite places to Eat. This evening for my daughters 5th birthday we were sung to by our melodic waitress Jerry, who is a treat to hear anytime we are in. The food was wonderful as always. The kids love the pizza especially. Thank you again to all the staff for always making us feel at home, welcome and cared for every time we dine. I’ve been craving Indian food and had no idea I could get it in Slave Lake. I would recommend this in a heartbeat! I really enjoyed every bite! Mama11123085 days agoExcellent food for a reasonable price Whether it’s breakfast, lunch or dinner, Chinese or Western food, the Sawridge Cafe has great meals. When the buffet is on, the food is good and it’s kept well stocked. Depending on which server you have, service can range from excellent (your coffee cup never is empty) to mediocre or poor (you only get a refill if you flag her down and ask for it, then wait til she gets around to it, or ask another server). This time we were at the Sawridge for lunch. I had the Beef Taco Salad while my husband had their breakfast special of Ham and Eggs. My salad came in a delicious taco bowl loaded with lettuce, tomatoes, green onions with a generous amount of ground beef and melted cheese on top with salsa and sour cream on the side. It tasted as good as it looked! My husband's soft basted eggs were cooked to perfection. The staff were friendly and kept our coffee topped up. I'm so glad we had the opportunity to give this restaurant a second try; I will be coming back. Prices are reasonable, portions are generous and service was very good.
